This week's quote is taken from my current read, Spellbound. Here they are:
Well, I was avoiding Brendan and Anthony for different reasons. I was afraid I'd lose control: I'd throw myself on Brendan, or throw up on Anthony.
“You’re lying!” I yelled, my hands clenched into fists. “She rejected you, and you know it. But tell me another story, Mother Goose. You seem full of fairy tales.”
Yes, so I cheated an placed two. I couldn't help it- I love Emma's narration. She's certainly full of spunk! And for those who want to know more about this book, here's the summary:
What's a girl to do when meeting The One means she's cursed to die a horrible death?

Life hasn't been easy on sixteen-year-old Emma Connor, so a new start in New York may be just the change she needs. But the posh Upper East Side prep school she has to attend? Not so much. Friendly faces are few and far between, except for one that she's irresistibly drawn to—Brendan Salinger, the guy with the rock-star good looks and the richest kid in school, who might just be her very own white knight.

But even when Brendan inexplicably turns cold, Emma can't stop staring. Ever since she laid eyes on him, strange things have been happening. Streetlamps go out wherever she walks, and Emma's been having the oddest dreams: visions of herself in past lives—visions that warn her to stay away from Brendan. Or else.
I'm totally enjoying this book! So what was your quote? :)

Anyway, I like the quotes. I doN't know if I'll manage to read this book, but I sorta hope so. The cover just looks so good.. Oh, I'm being shallow again. v_v

Don't just sit there with your mouth hanging open. Flies will get in. Why don't you leave a comment instead and allow me to get a peek of those thoughts running in that brain of yours?
