In My Mailbox #10

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme over at The Story Siren's, where you share what books and other goodies you got. Okay, so I’m still officially on vacation, but the good news? At least I’m gonna have some internet for the time being. So of course, I just couldn’t resist posting an IMM for this week, because I got some really great stuff this week!

So first off, I went shopping for- what else?- books, and managed to snag these books- and got them real cheap too!

I’ve read some pretty crappy anthologies lately, but I’m pretty excited for Kiss Me Deadly, since I recognize some authors from the list. And while I had no plans of reading Hereafter soon, I couldn’t resist buying it- and it’s looking pretty good now! :D 

And Last Sacrifice- ah, I’m reading that book now, and loving it. I just recently fell in love with the Vampire Academy series, and I fell hard. I read the entire thing pretty much at the rate of one book per day- so addicting- but now I’m at the last book and I don’t want it to end! Rose is pretty much the most kickbutt heroine ever, and Dimitri- gosh. If you’re interested, drop by tomorrow, because there’s gonna be some swooning involved over that guy. ;) 

And Illuminate! I was pretty ecstatic when I won the swag bag giveaway Aimee had held, and I love love love it! Aimee is the best, and I can’t wait to dive into Illuminate- and check out all the pretty swag I got! :D (Except for the Iron Fey bookmark. That- well, I got it some other way. I’m not so sure you’d wanna know. :P)

And I love their covers too! :) Especially Darkness Becomes Her!

So I'm probably gonna reread Wither before reading Fever, and I'm really excited to see how it goes. And Darkness Becomes Her looks like a fun dark book! :) I've also heard that Blood Red Road and Eve are pretty kick-ass, so we'll see about that... And I just noticed: they're all dystopian books! Looks like I'm gonna have a lotta fun reading! :)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme over at The Story Siren's, where you share what books and other goodies you got. So remember last week when I said that the other half of what I received would be featured next week? Here's what I got:

Okay, so I'm pretty excited to read Firelight, especially since I got some Firelight swag already. :) Touch of Power too, since it looks seriously kick-ass. But you know what sucks? I haven't read Nightshade yet, but I've heard of the killer love triangle in the series. But then there I was, searching for Bloodrose, when I purposely clicked on a "VIEW SPOILER" review of it, and discover how the love triangle ends. I was NOT happy.

Oooh, Fever! I loved Wither, and I can't wait to read it and see what happens next! And yes, I'm one of the few people who hasn't read Shatter Me yet, but I know its awesome, so really high expectations for that one. :) And I'm so excited for Born Wicked too, because how can you go wrong with magic and a hot gardener? ;)

And finally, Fallen in Love and Tangled. I haven't read Torn yet, so I'll read that first before moving on with Tangled. As for Fallen in Love... well, I'm reading that last. The Fallen series didn't really make an impression on me, so we'll just see.

In My Mailbox #7

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme over at The Story Siren's, where you share what books and other goodies you got. 

This week is one of the best weeks in the mailbox, ever! I received a bunch of books from a friend in the US, which I'd won and shipped to him. (Since where I live, there's no such things as signed books,  I go crazy entering contests for them! :P) And since the books have kinda accumulated, there's a lot, so I've split them into two. Second part of the loot gets revealed next week! :D So here's what I got:

Awesome, right? Well, I dunno with you, but I'm pretty happy!

So first up are the books I won from Leanna Renee Hieber's Twitter follower giveaway bash. I was pretty ecstatic over winning personalized copies of her books, especially Darker Still! And not only that, I got a bunch of swag from the Apocalypsies, which I totally love! :D

And I also won Scars, personalized,  from Cheryl Rainfield, including the bonus post cards below from Hunted. And I also got a personalized copy of Nightshade back when it released... Yeah, around 5 months ago? :P And finally, a signed copy of Across the Universe, including an envelope full of swag below from the A Million Suns launch.

So that's it for now. :) I'm planning to go buy more books this week, so next week's mailbox should hopefully be pretty awesome! :D

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme over at The Story Siren's, where you share what books and other goodies you got. So this was an okay week at the mailbox. I got three books in all:

I've actually finished reading Under the Never Sky. It was soo awesome! I'm gonna post my review up soon someday. I'm excited to read Matched, now that the sequel has been out for quite some time. And of course, the Bar Code Tattoo. I've already read it's sequel, The Bar Code Rebellion, but didn't really understand it. Hopefully things will change after reading the first book!

In My Mailbox #3

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme over at The Story Siren's, where you share what books and other goodies you got. So it's been a while since I last did this, because I haven't had the time to buy that many new books yet. My bookshelves are still filled with books that have been sitting there for months that I have yet to read! But yeah, some books I won finally arrived in the mail, so here they are:

I won Violet Eyes by Debbie Viguie from her Christmas Advent Calendar event last December, and its signed to me! Eternal Starling by Angela Corbett came with a swag pack, and I am soo excited to read it! The best part? It's also personalized! Angela is such as sweet person! And finally, I bought The Specialists by Shannon Greenland. Yes, its an old book, but I love that series and I've been looking for this one for a long time.

And I won the latest three books in the Soul Screamers series from Rachel back in December as well, when she was celebrating the release of the omnibus. I was so excited to see that MSTK and MSTS were personalized! Now my collection is complete! :D Although MSTS's cover got a bit banged up... Oh well.

And finally, swag galore! Most of those came with the Eternal Starling swag pack. I got an Eternal Starling magnet, tote bag, a signed sticker, bookmark, and letter, a flag, and a book thong as well! And from the Soul Screamers package came the Enthralled postcard and the If I Die bookmarks. So pretty!

So yeah, I'm pretty much very happy with what I got this week. I got a few more stuff, but I'll show those next time. I'm still ecstatic with the stuff I got!

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme over at The Story Siren's, where you share what books and other goodies you got. So this week's IMM is a combination of last week's and this week's stuff. I would have posted it last week, but I was super busy. 

So here are the stuff I got:

For review, I got an ARC of Switched, which I didn't even know I was gonna get. Along with that is the ARC of Tempest, which I didn't include in the picture, and Daemon Hall. And, I also won the Iron Knight from Debbie's World of Books! I'm super excited to read it! :) I also got Dark Eden as well. I just finished Tempest and I can't wait finish Switched!

Aaand, I bought some stuff as well! I finally bought an e-reader, so I now own a Kindle Touch! It's pretty cool, but there's this annoying bug whenever I turn a page. Luckily, Amazon agreed to replace it! :)

So, it's my very first time in participating in The Story Siren's weekly meme, In My Mailbox. Basically, you just share with us what books and other goodies you got! So....

Here are the stuff I won from Mundie Moms for participating in the Clockwork Angel Read-Along! I'm so excited to read Clockwork Angel again- as well as Magnus' Vow! Not only that, Katie also surprised me by adding some awesome swag! Epic, right? :) I was sooo happy, especially since I found out some were even signed! Thanks mommy! ;)

And, I also bought a copy of Cate Tiernan's Balefire! So excited to read it! I liked her Sweep series, so I'm definitely gonna read this soon. Plus the cover is absolutely gorgeous, don't you think? :D And of course, I love any book about magic!

So that's all I got this week. Hopefully next time, I'll get more books! ;)
