This week, my quote comes from...

Since she'd been on the outside, she'd survived an Aether storm, she'd had a knife held to her throat, and she'd seen men murdered. This was worse.

Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland - known as The Death Shop - are slim. If the cannibals don't get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She's been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He's wild - a savage - and her only hope of staying alive.

A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile - everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria's help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will determine the fate of all who live under the never sky.

Okay, so I loved this book. I was actually gonna go with another quote, a much deeper, more bittersweet one, but then I remembered this, and just couldn't resist. So, here's my quote:

She looked up. “A world of nevers under a never sky.”

"She fit in well then," he thought. "A girl who never shut up."

Well, this was one of the few funny moments brought to us by no one than Perry. :) The book's really good, albeit a bit confusing at first, but a really good dystopian. My review's gonna be posted soon. Hopefully. :P

So what quote did you pick this week?

  3. Nice quote. Think I've heard about that book before. =) But never read it. Today I have a quote from Pollyanna. =) http://whatafeeling-mailene.blogspot.com/2012/03/memorable-monday_19.html

  4. HAHAHAHA. I won this one recently from Stephanie Sinclair and Kat Kennedy, so I'm very curious. I don't know if I'll like it, though, because I have a similiar problem (never shutting up, especially when nervous) and urgh.. XD

Anyway, thank you for sharing this GREAT quote with the rest of us (and for stopping by my blog! Yes, you should read Struck.)

Don't just sit there with your mouth hanging open. Flies will get in. Why don't you leave a comment instead and allow me to get a peek of those thoughts running in that brain of yours?
